The army supported Expo.02 in transporting visitors to the Arteplage Murten-Morat.

To ensure that visitors could get to Meyriez (where the army was present) in comfort, the army used 3 horse-drawn vehicles and 400 military bicycles for road transport.

For sea transport, the army used 2 navettes, each with 22 seats (up to 62 journeys per boat per day), and up to four translator boats were used in the final phase of Expo.02 (July-October).
