The signage system for the toilets, restaurants and meeting points consisted of metal signs in conventional format. An updatable display combined functional information in a mirror of everyday life in Switzerland. Zhang Lu, a Chinese draughtsman, travelled the country in search of the peculiarities of everyday life. A questioning of the universal pictorial symbol: Each sign is different, context-dependent and accompanied by a multilingual text.
