Pirate ship

The Arteplage Mobile du Jura (AMJ) was a gravel barque completely remodelled according to the design concept of the Parisian firm Mésarchitecture. Three grappling arms - two at the bow, one at the stern - reached into the sky. The hull with its large lateral window openings was located aft. Along the railing, a high grating protected the core: the 300 square metre, bright red freight container, a multifunctional activity space with room for 150 people. In line with the different requirements, the modular box - the Attracteur - was either fully or partially assembled and disassembled. The typology thus changed from a closed container ship to a covered offshore platform and from there to an open aircraft carrier.
