The Seven Wise Men project linked the thematic chapters of the Arteplage Mobile du Jura in a broad-based research project that opened up the offshore island of Switzerland to the world and exposed the UN novice to the critical gaze of seven guests from the South and East of the world. Scientists and artists from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe took an in-depth look at a selected aspect of the nation and discussed it together with a former Federal Councillor - Adolf Ogi and Otto Stich had agreed to take part - or another personality from Swiss political life. The Seven Wise Men is a project of the Arteplage Mobile du Jura and was organised under the patronage of several Swiss aid organisations.
