| Programme | 18:00 - 19:00: Débat 1 - Two languages in my head, who am I? Almost half of all EU citizens speak only their mother tongue. Switzerland, a quadrilingual and multilingual country, is also living more side by side than together: fewer and fewer Swiss people speak foreign languages. - But there are many who have no choice because they are at home in two languages. All Romansh speakers today are at least bilingual, as are the Secondos and many foreigners living in our country. What is it like to live in this form of bilingualism, how do the languages mix in these people? In everyday life, in the family and in dreams? In thinking and writing? Moderation: Chasper Pult The Trans-Littérale was the meeting place for literature at Expo.02. Many different forms of literature were presented to the public over a total of three long weekends. | |
