| Programme | 20:30 - 03:00: Night of Literature The programme opened with readings by Alberto Nessi & Erica Pedretti and Klaus Merz & Anna Felder, followed by a concert with Lauren Newton (vocals), Urs Leimgruber (saxophone) and Günter Müller (percussion and live electronics). At midnight, visitors were treated to the finest that sound poetry had to offer at the time: Jaap Blonk, Valeri Scherstjanoi and Klagenfurt Prize winner Michael Lentz. In the early morning, Peter Weber & Ivan Farron read as a duet, followed by language virtuoso Christian Uetz. The programme concluded with an interaction between Lauren Newton, Urs Leimgruber, Günter Müller and Jaap Blonk. At 03:00, the ship brought the guests back to safe shore. The Trans-Littérale was the meeting place for literature at Expo.02. Many different forms of literature were presented to the public over a total of three long weekends. | |
