The cantons were also involved in the national exhibition. In addition to their financial participation, various cantons were involved in Expo.02 exhibitions and organised their Cantonal Days during Expo.02.

The exhibitions of the cantons
Various cantons took part in Expo.02 as exhibitors.
A total of CHF 30 million was budgeted for the four exhibition projects, with the organising cantons contributing CHF 7.8 million and the non-organising cantons CHF 22.2 million.
