UBS AG's Bank.02 was located at the main entrance to each Arteplage (in Murten at Hauptgasse 21). Bank.02 offered all important banking services: Exchange of major currencies into Swiss francs, cash advance on all credit cards, deposits, cashing of traveller's cheques, return of cards withdrawn from ATMs, blocking of lost or stolen cards. There were also a large number of ATMs on the Arteplages.
How did people pay at Expo.02?
Visitors could leave their cash at home and enjoy Expo.02 safely and worry-free. No cash was needed during the visit to Expo.02, as the usual electronic payment methods such as CASH, debit cards (ec/Maestro, Postcard) and credit cards (EUROCARD/Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Diners and JCB) were accepted everywhere. Of course, it was also possible to pay in cash.
